Kari 

After working in the mortgage industry for 102 years (Lol),  Kari needed a new outlet to inspire, challenge, and motivate her. Fitness, specifically cycling, became the perfect place: an arena to release any stress while being able to push herself to the next level! Her true passion lies within motivating others with her fun and encouraging flare. Whether she’s motivating you on the bike, or just chatting outside the arena, Kari’s passion to help others truly shines. She would love you to join her for an exciting and inspiring ride!

Mallory

Mallory is our front desk extraordinaire turned CycleFit instructor. Mallory’s passion for fitness began when she enrolled in dance at the age of three. She started cheerleading in high school and continued through college. In an effort to de-stress from her hectic schedule at Frostburg University while pursuing her degree in Exercise and Sports Science, she turned to indoor cycling classes and fell in love. Now a seasoned cheerleading coach in Montgomery County, Mallory sure knows how to rally a crowd. She will lead you into sprints and hills and everything in between with a smile on your face and a pep in your step!

Brett

Brett’s passion for the indoor cycling experience began as a participant. He sought out the best cycling classes and instructors throughout Maryland and DC that not only provided exceptional workouts, but provided that emotional push as well. With the creation of CycleFit in Downtown Frederick, and now a Certified Spinning Instructor, he can help bring this unique fitness lifestyle experience to everyone, right in his own backyard.

Erin

From Maryland to Virginia to South Carolina to Jamaica, Erin finally sowed her wild oats back in her hometown of Frederick, MD. As a lifelong athlete, she had to find another way to channel her competitive nature and throw an endorphin party when the big leagues inevitably didn’t draft her. Erin walked into CycleFit to discover a lavender-scented sanctuary, where the instructors and classes were nothing short of exceptional. She is thrilled to share her love for music, fitness, good vibes, and laughs with y’alllls.

Elise

I first stepped into CycleFit as a client, looking for a positive change in my life. It’s so easy to get caught up in life and not prioritize our self-care.  From my first class I was hooked. I found myself looking forward everyday to going to spin just to relieve my daily stressors and to simply have fun in a nonjudgmental space. During that one hour I get to dance, sing, sweat, and feel good! When I  was approached regarding being a cyclefit instructor, I decided to take on the ultimate challenge, and I’ve never looked back!!

Kat

Having attended cycle classes for years, Kat has always found spin to be extremely fun, motivational and inspiring. The connection that you feel during a great cycle class with the bike, the music, your fellow riders and most importantly yourself is like none other. After attending CycleFit regularly and the opportunity presented itself, Kat was excited to be a part of such an amazing community and to provide that energy and environment for others as an instructor.

Stacey

Growing up I was very involved in tennis and volleyball and went on to play DI volleyball at Towson. After graduating, I coached club volleyball for several years (which I loved!), but still felt like something was missing. I started taking cycling classes at the gym I belong to and fell in love with it. CycleFit provides the team atmosphere that I felt was missing after my volleyball career ended. When the opportunity to be part of a place with such a positive, empowering environment presented itself I couldn’t pass it up!

Amy

A rare, born and raised Floridian, Amy has always had a passion for fitness, being active and inspiring others.  Throughout childhood, Amy was a competitive dancer. She had a passion for movement of all kinds. She attended FSU (Florida State University) and earned a degree in Exercise Physiology. She has been working in the fitness industry for over 15 years teaching many different formats, such as BodyPump, BootCamp, small group training, Barre, and much more. However, her favorite class to teach is Cycle.  Amy challenges her clients with positive energy and motivation. Amy says “You didn’t come here for a joy ride, you came here to sweat you’re a** off and I will help you have fun doing it!”  Come join in on her classes and see your potential!

Erin

This soon to be registered nurse loves the thrills and adrenaline emergency and trauma nursing has to offer – But after those 12 hours of crazy Erin is ready to dance it out on the bike! Erin has ran three half marathons but turned to spinning after an injury. You may recognize her from in the arena, but now it’s time for her to lead the gladiators. Come grab the beat with her and leave your worries at the door!

Olivia

Currently a senior at Linganore High School, Olivia is the Vice President of the National Honor Society, as well as a member of the History and Science honor societies. She is also a cheerleading State Title holder. After being introduced to CycleFit by a friend, Olivia started working as a front desk associate. From there she fell in love with getting up on the stage, and now nothing holds her back! Olivia hopes to go into medicine as well as the health and fitness industry.

Maggie 

Health and fitness have been engrained in Maggie’s life from an early age. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise from Roanoke College. Now, a ACSM Certified Personal Trainer and N.S.P.A. Certified Spin Instructor, Maggie spends every day guiding others in their own health and fitness journeys. It is her goal to motivate and inspire individuals to challenge themselves, while making it a fun and enjoyable experience. Teaching spin allows her to combine her love of music and fitness, to create a workout that you will not want to miss!

Staff

Chris
Chris has an extensive background in graphic design and advertising and was owner of Cranberry Graphics in Bethesda for over twenty two years. She took a hiatus from the corporate world to raise the family. Now that the kids have grown, she is behind the scenes as a general manager, as well as marketing and handling the finances. She has a passion for golf, plays competitively, and lives in New Market with her husband Brett.

Kim
Kim is a Frederick native who’s been active all of her life. After playing field hockey competitively throughout college she picked up running and hasn’t looked back. Although she races various distances, the marathon has a strong hold on her heart, she’s even run in the Boston Marathon.  She loves the process of training and pushing yourself to the next level. CycleFit is the perfect cross training activity for her high mileage running.
